As you know, I'm working (slowly) on a file management set of
extensions for comicster to handle local files in my collection. It
seems I'm going to have a number of functions that I would like to
group into a submenu on the tools menu or otherwise organize. I
would ask for some way to specify submenus or orderings or
something. I'm afraid I don't really have good ideas on how it
should be done.

I had also mentioned adding things to context menus of items as
well which would be nice.

I know I could create my own UI by skinning or just being
activated from an ITool which would portal all my functions but I'd
rather keep the my functions as integrated as tightly as possible
to the default UI. Also, I don't really like creating UIs because
mine are always ugly :)

I may spend sometime thinking on interface changes that might
allow submenus if you might agree and/or don't have a good idea on
how to do it.

Thanks.

Adam Hathcocktag:help.comicster.net,2011-06-08:Comment/118060722011-12-01T13:32:25Z2011-12-01T13:32:25ZAdd sub menus for extensions.

I'd +1 the ideas for sub-menus and context menus. I think I've
talked about it to Matt before about both of the ideas a while ago
when the release was still pretty new.

It might be tricky to code it into the extension manager, but I
think it would be a great feature for API developers.

Jim Welchtag:help.comicster.net,2011-06-08:Comment/118060722013-01-07T00:43:16Z2013-01-07T00:43:16ZAdd sub menus for extensions.

Closing to avoid spam.

mabster
